in 2006 we had an all girls KK at changi
in 2007 we had a chop chilli chop KK at downtown east
in 2008, the previous one, was at changi once again.

yupp its that time of the year again!
KEM KEMBARA 2009! for the 4th year running. (:

where: bungalow at 40 Pasir Ris Ave. (near pasir ris park. take bus 403 from PR MRT)
when: 2nd- 4th jan 2009
who: cool people whose school hasnt started yet! and the boy with the repaired knee.
cost: we just have to pay for food.

activities:
day 1: BBQ (hahah as usual!) starts at 5.
day 2: cycle at ubin
day3: if anyone of u want to stay longer, please do. cos the bungalow is ours till 6thjan!

alright do give inputs k!
i need ideas on how much to spend for food.
what games to play.
and btw, check in time on friday is 3pm.

one week to go (:

good news:
1. shah is coming to check in the chalet for us! (: (: (:
2. we have finally decided that the bbq night be on the first night (2nd jan). it will start at 5pm(:
3. there will be activities on the second day, so guys, u are very welcomed to join us. for dinner that night, we'll be going out for seafood dinner most prolly. so if u guys are free, come yeah.
4. payment: guys pay $13 and girls pay $19. (price difference? cos the guys dont have to pay the chalet booking fee.)
5. be happy on the bbq night. cranky and fussy people will not be welcomed.

1. most probably no guys will be staying over.
this can be both bad and GOOD. *cheeky smile + raised eyebrows*
2. not everyone has confirmed with me their attendance.
please do so cos i paid for the smses that i sent and it'll be nice to get a reply.
3. once we've confirmed attendance, i'll inform u guys bout the price.
4. for right now, i dont know how are we checking in to the chalet.
cos the chalet was booked by shah's dad and we need his ic.
thing is, the whole family will be away on a holiday during that period.
5. i could use some help in planning the programme for the kem.

Saya selaku captain (tak nak step down! ahhaha)amat bebesar hati untuk mengadakan kem kembara-ra-ra-ra yg ke-3!

anyway, tauhid menyarankan suatu idea baru. walaupun dia penipu besar, saya suka dgn idea barunya itu. dia menyarankan agar kita membuat tempahan untuk makanan kita, so tak payah kita (the girls) bersusah payah pergi rumah fanah untuk menyetal ayam dan udang. lagipun, abang iparnya mempunyai wajah yg garang, dan saya takut.

dgn semangatnya, mcm takde kerja lain padahal exam blum lagi habis, saya melayari lelaman web bbqwholesale untuk melihat2 apa yg ada. saya sebenarnya berminat dgn package yg ditawarkan.

jika ada 15 peserta yg akan mengikuti kem ini, dan setiap sorang membayar $20 [total $300], kita boleh membelanjakan $200+ untuk makanan untuk the whole of the camp, which is more than enuff.

baiklah, korang decide okay. harap2 cbox tu boleh berfungsi.

pls take note of sum impt tings to bring for tis kem..
1) card games
2) clothings (dark coloured shirts n pants for girls) --> for wet/beach activities
3) english/malay/indo/chinese/korean/thailand horror vcds/dvds --> for movie marathon
4) eye make up (celak, eyeshadow)/ dark lipstick/ masks --> for horror/goth bbq

muni has came up wif an interesting idea of making themes for the 2 bbq nyts..so we r gona try it n its up to u guys to make it as exciting as possible!

Themes for bbq:
1st nyt --> Horror/Goth (u can only wear white/black clothing n everyone is required to get some horrifying face painting)

2nd nyt --> Retro (black/white clothing is prohibited. cheerful, bright n colourful clothings r preferred n everyone is required to wear balloon bracelets made by us)

muni also suggested that during games (while bbq-ing) we r gona concoct weird drinks n those hu lose during games will haf to be blind-folded n drink wateva concoction u get..so WARNING!! Tis kem is not for boring-hearted ppl. We want everyone to be sporting in games/activities we haf lined up for u so that everyone will enjoy ultimate fun from tis kem.

On a lighter note, i hope everyone will enjoy kem kembara II much better than the 1st!! Lets make it happen ppl!!! See ya tomorrow..row..row..row.. :):):)

6-7pm - start to eat!! (BBQ THEME: HORROR/GOTH)
8-9pm - sing-a-long (the kind we use to do last kem kembara right afta eating)
10pm - play cards (uno, heart attack, police n murderer, bluff etc.) ??
12am - start movie marathon (free n easy)

6th jan (sat)
9am - good morning!!! guys to go out buy bfast for the ladies n themselves(must be back by 11am)
12pm - prepare to go beach for picnic
1pm - start of beach activities (ultimate frisbee, water bomb, mother n hen, volleyball, monkey etc.)
5pm - head back to chalet n wash up
6-8pm - bbq (BBQ THEME: RETRO)
9pm - start kem fire (guys to build kem fire, find twigs etc.)
10pm - chit chat session around the fire (ghost stories, funny stories, the link story like we did on the raya bus)
12am - free n easy

7th jan (sun)
8am - wake up!! packing time..
10am - home sweet home~

Walaupun plan satu lebih mendapat sambutan..saya, yang dilantik sebagai programme ic melihat lakaran programme itu tidak begitu menarik..kemungkinan kekurangan detail2 yang diperlukan utk membuatnya menarik.

saya sarankan dua dua malam perlu diselitkan acara bbq untuk memaksimalkan penggunaan pit tersebut. lagipun, kita bayar mahal2..takkan nak kena keluar duit lagi untuk makan pagi/petang/malam untuk hari kedua. sebaiknya kita ration benda2 bbq supaya kedua2 hari boleh dijayakan sesi bbq ini..perlu saya tekankan, keperluan ini harus diuruskan oleh food ic.

untuk program tengah malam, saya sarankan pula kita tukar theme movie marathon kali ini kepada english/malay/indon horror. jadi, sesiapa yg ade vcd/dvd hantu, silalah sedekahkan kepada kami. sejauh ini saya ada beberapa vcd/dvd hantu.

saya juga rasa it wud be interesting untuk adekan sesi bercerita2 tentang hantu. bukan niat apa2..supaya kem kali ini lebih seru aja..kita juga boleh main game2 lain yg menggunakan kad pakau atau uno..jadi silalah sesiapa dermakan benda2 ini..lain2 game boleh kita mainkan seperti game cerita berseri seperti di dalam bus waktu jln raya tahun ini..

oklah sampai disini saja ide-ide saya..sampai saya dapat ilham lagi untuk memblogkan ide-ide yg lebih menarik pada masa akan datang..
